Charles Frost

Director of Golf

Charles was born and raised in Gainesville, Georgia, where he fell in love with golf at an early age. Charles played college golf at Emory University, where he earned All-American honors. Charles was involved in all aspects of the golf business during his time at Quail Hollow while working for Scott Davenport. Following a three-year stint as Head Professional at Kiawah Island Club in Charleston, South Carolina, he accepted the Director of Golf position at Old Town in 2015. Charles and his wife, Elizabeth, have one child, Charlie, who was born shortly before they moved to Winston-Salem. In 2015 Charles also played in the PGA Championship at Whistling Straights, and in 2017 Charles was named Carolinas PGA Player of the Year.


Andrew Boston

Head Golf Professional
Andrew spent most of his childhood in State College, Pennsylvania. He learned to love the game of golf from both of his grandfathers. The summer before his junior year of high school his passion for the game took on a new level. He became a junior member at Penn State golf course and played almost every day. This passion led him to attend Coastal Carolina University where he majored in Business Management with a focus on Golf Management. Andrew’s hobbies include all things sports and travel. By the time he was 24 years old he had already visited more than 40 states!



Tommy Gibson

Assistant Golf Professional
Tommy was born in Miami, Florida, but spent most of his childhood in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is the son of a golf professional and started playing golf at the age of 3. Tommy has been a golf professional since 2008. He has played on many golf tours and has worked at the following clubs: Bent Pine in Vero Beach, Florida; Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina; and Ocean Reef in Key Largo, Florida. He recently married his Mount Airy sweetheart, Kasie Tolbert. Tommy has worked at Old Town since May 2016. Tommy has also finished in the top 3 in both the 2018 North and South Carolina Open Championships. 




Connor Hutto

Assistant Golf Professional
Connor Hutto has just joined the golf professional staff as an assistant golf professional. He is coming to us from the Kiawah Island Club in Charleston, SC. Connor is originally from Winston-Salem and graduated from Forsyth Country Day in 2006. He went on to attend Clemson University and graduate with a degree in Communications Studies. We’re happy to have Connor join our staff!
