Eric Bischofberger

Assistant General Manager
Eric has grown up in the club industry, since his father, Kurt, is a retired Club Manager. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina at Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management.  Eric brings years of experience and best practices to Old Town from his experience at Country Club of Virginia, Country Club of Landfall and Belfair. He is an active member of the Club Managers Association of America.




Luke Fussell

Executive Chef
Chef Luke was born in Columbus, Georgia and graduated from Walter M. Williams High School in Burlington, North Carolina. He attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and Columbus State University in Columbus, GA where he graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice.Luke has worked in the Food and Beverage industry for over twenty-five years, beginning with his first job at Huey’s Original BBQ in Burlington. Since then he has worked at many independent fine dining establishments as well as a number of private clubs such as Linville Ridge Country Club, Reynolds Plantation of Georgia and most recently Hound Ears Club in Boone, NC, where he was the Executive Chef.Luke and his wife, Kristin, a native of Winston-Salem, were married in 2007 and have two young daughters, Ryan Avery and Harper.


Kelena Blue

Clubhouse Manager, Dining Room Manager
Kelena has been a part of our team since 2001. She began as a part-time banquet server during her senior year. Born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC, Kelena decided to stay closer to her family after graduation and accepted a fulltime position at Old Town. Over the years, her leadership and dedication manifested in her growing career in the hospitality industry. In 2016, Kelena accepted her current position as the Clubhouse/Dining Room Manager.




Blair Wright

Banquet Manager
Blair Wright is a native of Bunn, North Carolina. Blair’s history in the service industry started with her days at The Carolina Club while attending The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (TAR ……. HEELS). She has been with Old Town since 2011 and was recently promoted to Banquet Manager. On the job and off the job, teachings and tastings have made Blair an integral part of our wine, liquor, and beer purchasing operations at the club and she is excited to continue to bring you new and exciting products to try.
